How to create a Character
It all starts in the top right corner where your profile menu is situated. From here you can reach all of your personal settings and creations. For this we are going to click on the Characters under My Narrative.
This page displays all the characters you’ve created. From here, you can either edit an existing character or click the Create Character button to open the creation page.
Create a Character
As you enter the creation page you are presented with this icon before you scroll down to the larger form. By clicking it or dropping an image there you can add a background image to your character page. This is optional and you can leave this blank for now if you want.
This is the creation page in all its glory. Lets go over it step by step.
Hero image
The circular section in the top left is the Hero image where you can add an image on your character if you want. This will be displayed on its character card as well as on the character page.
Name
This one is pretty self explanatory but still one of the most important fields on the whole page.
Role (optional)
This is your characters job description or title. We have used the role Warlord for our own characters that represent the grand alliances fighting in Meridia as an example. But General, Lord Arcanum or Warboss is equally valid. Your imagination is the limit.
Faction
Here you use the dropdown to chose what Faction your character belongs to.
Sub Faction / Battle formation
As you pick your faction this dropdown will be populated with the different Battle formations you are allowed to choose from.
Warscroll (optional)
Here you can write what warscroll you have based your character on. This is an optional field for you to inform any reader of your choice of model.
Description (optional)
This is where you tell the story of your character. Its background and personality.
Traits (Optional)
Describe your character with one word. Is she Stoic? Violent? Coward? use as many words you want.
Weapons (optional)
Another optional field if you want to add what kind of weapons your character use.
After you have filled out what fields you want just press Save and voila! you have a character than now can be added to your games, your narrative posts and your armies.
